Post by Korosteam The separate lockout has only happend on Korean realms. US/EU realms still have a shared lockout. I would enjoy that separate lockout but I doubt they will separate the 10/25 raids on US/EU servers.

Unlike today, 10- and 25-player modes of a single raid will share the same lockout. You can defeat each raid boss once per week per character. In other words, if you wanted to do both a 10- and 25-person raid in a single week, you’d need to do so on two different characters. Normal versus Heroic mode will be chosen on a per-boss basis in 10 man and 25 man (ICC and RS) will not share loot until Cataclysm.

You can clear the raid once per lockout, regardless of its difficulty (since you're able to change the difficulty while you're in the raid instance).

You must either have an easier 10man or a shared lockout; otherwise it would be the mission of progress guilds to run both 10 man and 25 man every week, because it doubles your progress and gearing speed.
